Death is extremely personal. The services Beyers provides help make the experience much more comfortable. When your people come to the house to prepare the deceased they are very respectful and compassionate. I knew you would remove my husband in a timely manner. It was nice to not have to worry about anything. Bob was very caring and helped prepare the obituary and final preparations. Planning before death makes things go much more smoothly when the time for our loved one to go home comes. Beyers helped give me a peace of mind knowing everything would be cared for. Even me.

My experience with Beyer’s Funeral Home was a very pleasant experience. They were so kind and helpful in coordinating my Dad’s last wishes to perfect execution. They handled all the paperwork for our family working with an out of area funeral home and the National Cemetery in Pensacola where my father will be buried. Again everyone was so kind and have followed up with me and my family members just to check on is. Highly recommend.

Beyers Funeral Home was amazing in every way! They were very compassionate, caring, and understanding of our family needs in every way possible. Steve Cruttenden was simply amazing. We highly recommend Steve and Beyers for all of your needs. My Dad and Mom prepaid their services several years ago and when my Mom suddenly passed away this past May, it was such a comfort to have Steve just walk us through things in a simple and compassionate manner. My Dad requested a few minor changes, and these were quickly addressed without question. I would give 10 Stars if I could. They really helped us during such a difficult time in our lives.

Our dear Mother died In February. I live in California, my 6 lliving brothers and sisters live in 4 diffrent states. Coordinating the logistics, the details, the schedules was daunting. Having to prepare for a funeral, viewing, cremation, etc., is never pleasant. Most recently I needed to make arrangements for my husband who passed away quite unexpectedly. As relative newcomers to the Lady Lake area I was not familiar with funeral homes and the like. However, when I asked local law enforcement where I needed to go, they suggested Beyers Funeral Home & Cremation. I am so glad they did. Steve. C. , and his staff were kind, patient, understanding, and most of all compassionate to all my needs, questions, concerns. Even days after, I receive text messages inquiring if I need anything, that they are prepared to counsel and just listen , if needed. I found this quite endearing and have instructed my adult children that Beyers will be my choice when I finally need it.

Beyers have all the compassion necessary to help anyone through the trying time after a loved one’s passing. I’ve been with them in 3 times upon a loved ones passing . Each time they were in there to guide me in the best decision for me. Afterwards they have programs to help one get on wit their life I’ve just returned from the After Life lunch which is great for getting people together for a good lunch& a program for entertainment with door prizes. There are other programs they offer if anyone wants to participate.

When I went in the funeral, Director was very compassionate and just his demeanor help me with the process of preparing my mother for burial. I would use him in the future. I live in MN and my son lived in FL. He passed away suddenly and I was provided Beyers number to contact for cremation services. I spoke to Bob who was empathetic and took down brief information then stated he would call me back next day to start the process. He called me and he explained the entire process and time frame. He even helped me obtain hair clippings to prove paternity for my grandson. They have made multiple follow ups with me to see how I am doing as well. I am very pleased with the tenderness and compassion they have had with me through this life changing event. No one should have to go through a loss alone.

Each and everyone of you at Beyers Funeral Home, were so kind and generous and so very helpful in what was the hardest time in our lives. Making arrangements and having a service for my 10month old grandson was extremely hard and devastating, but y’all help us through it all and made it as beautiful as it possibly could be given the circumstances. And even though it has been 2 months ago, y’all still check on us and that is very much appreciated. This heartache will never go away, but again thank you all for being there and being so kind and helping us through it!!!

My husband had recently stated that he wanted a green burial. So I looked to see who in the area provided that service. Beyer's Funeral Home was listed. They had provided cremation services for my family when my Mom and Dad passed, so I knew they provided great services. After my husband passed, I contacted them and they made the process for the green burial smooth and comforting. They provided for a viewing for my husband's family and services to be provided at the burial site. So whether you are looking for traditional funeral services, cremation services or green burial services, I would highly recommend them for their professional and compassionate care. The Purcell staff was so helpful during what was a very difficult time. Kieth and Lily were able to answer all our questions and help us with details we didn't even know about. They were also able to accommodate a special request we had for the booklet. They were able to add a photo and customize the verbiage for us. One other service they provided, which was so touching - As a veteran, they covered our Dad's removal from the hospital in an American Flag, and then provided us the flag for his service. So respectful and caring. I highly recommend Purcell.

Planning your first time funeral is both scary and emotional. Steve was beyond caring, he walked us through all of our options, and was never a salesman. Steve was prompt with his responses, was available always to answer our questions. He helped us make my Moms service beautiful. The room was all set up when we got there, all the way down to each request I had. They did a lovely job on the slide show and took the work off of us. I HIGHLY recommend Steve and this location.

I can’t explain how grateful I am for these people in one little review. But I couldn’t have asked for anything better for telling my Mom good bye. Everyone was so great, and kind and they took their time to be thorough and make sure we were happy with everything. I even remembered my moms lipstick very last minute and called to ask if maybe by any chance they had it still and I could pick it up. And even thought it was a week later, they did! Truly am so grateful to have so much kindness and comfort for the worst experience of my life. I truly hope they read these, everything meant so much to me.

Death is never an easy thing to process, and planning a funeral can be overwhelming. Purcell's Funeral Home made it as simple and easy as possible for my family when my mother passed. They were very professional and warm from the start. Kristina was our funeral director and did a wonderful job helping us go through the process. She helped us with every step, explaining everything that needed to be done, what the prices were and what they included. She listened to everything we had to say and tried to make sure everything was as we wished. Everything was explained so well and we were not pressured to include anything we did not need or want. They took care of everything with such care. She also mentioned several business items that needed to be done afterwards, (banking, titles, bills, etc) that might need to be changed in the near future, items we would not have thought of. When we was not sure of a preacher for the service, Kristina just asked a few questions about mom's faith and instantly had a preacher in mind and gave him a call. The same with the flowers, she just told us where to go, and it worked out so well. Everyone she recommended was fantastic. Lauren took care of all the paperwork work so we did not have to worry about anything. On the evening of the viewing, we were taken to the chapel a few minutes after arriving. A staffer (Will) was in the office in the back in case we needed anything, but made sure to give us privacy and space to visit mom in peace. We never felt rushed. On the day of the funeral, everything was prepared and ready to go when we arrived at the cemetery. Kristina, Lauren and Will were warm and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. The service was lovely. After the service, we were not rushed at all while visiting with everyone who had came. Also Lauren and Will were amazing helping with Kristina. They were so sweet and willing to do whatever needed to be done. Thank you all for everything you done. Everyone did an amazing job and we are so grateful for helping us through a difficult time.

My family met with Terry to make funeral arrangements before our loved one passed. It is so much easier to make these arrangements before the time of need comes upon us. Many decisions need to be made and Terry walked us through each one of them and was so patient with us if we took a bit of time to decide. Beyers made a very difficult time for me very warm and comfortable. All of the Staff were so good to me and comforted me sincerely through it all with even a hug and sit with me while I cried and even has been checking on me after. My sister and I went to Beyers to get started on the paperwork for funeral arrangements. Kathy Riley took care of us. She made us feel very comfortable during a difficult time. After my sister passed Beyers was right there and took care of everything else. I thank them for their caring and compassion during a very difficult time. My Mom had previously put her final arrangements in place with Purcell Funeral Home. My experience with this company began with my entry into their very soothing space. The facility and grounds are clean, well kept and quintessentially professional. Kristina was warm and helpful, taking me through the entire process efficiently but with great empathy. She completed all the necessary paperwork, including the details for the obituary, and explained everything to me fully and clearly. I was also oddly relieved to learn that Purcell operates their own crematorium, knowing that my Mom’s remains would not be being transported all over everywhere. I would highly recommend Purcell Funeral Home and everyone working there for their calm, caring professionalism.

I couldn’t have been more appreciative of how Beyers Funeral Home handled everything about this difficult time. I especially want to give Lashana my highest praise for her loving and caring nature. She had every “I” dotted and “T” crossed and she was there by my family’s side every step of the way. From the pre-planning, viewing, service, and the funeral procession to Florida National Cemetery with escort, she was there. Very professional and caring. The visitation at Beyers was comfortable with plenty of room. The display was well done and the staff was very attentive and helpful. Steve could not have been more kind, clear and caring. What a traumatic time it is, dealing with the loss of your Dearest Love. Steve helped with every aspect including cremation (advising me wisely re flying w cremains), placing obituaries in various newspapers (checking with me before assuming the large cost was OK) and lovingly dividing the cremains so family members could have a part in the whole process. I felt honored and cared for and totally supported. Hope I don’t need his services again soon, but they would be my first and only choice, for sure!

I have to say, from someone like myself, who’s been in and around the funeral business my whole life, you’re never prepared when it’s your loved ones. My precious mother passed recently. I had brought her to Florida five years ago to live with me and my wife, so I had to get her back to her home state where I grew up. Beyers Funeral helped me from getting Mom where she needed to be, to helping me get her home and laid to rest beside my father. Beyers, funeral Home in Leesburg, Florida is one of the last family owned and operated funeral homes. The funeral business was founded on empathy and compassion, but the big corporations have destroyed that. Now it’s built off of numbers and trust me I’ve worked for them. David and his team still understand those principles. They understand it’s about the families and helping them with all of their needs, with true compassion, empathy, and care, and their prices are more than fair. They don’t try to take advantage of people in a vulnerable state. Thank you, Beyers Funeral Home for making sure my mother looked beautiful and just like herself and being there for me and my family during our time of need. God bless you all.

We are especially grateful to Steve Teeple who went out of his way to guide us through the funeral planning process and to ensure the video of LeRoy's life and the music for the visitation and service were exactly what we wanted. When Hurricane Idalia arrived on our original scheduled funeral day, Beyers staff smoothly rescheduled the service and worked with the florists to have the flowers delivered on the new date. Family and friends expressed comments that the Celebration of Life's video, music, and the service was beautiful and a perfect way to say goodbye to our beloved, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. The followup calls and messages were thoughtful and comforting. We are looking forward to the Evening of Remembrance where we'll place a white dove decoration with our loved one's name on a lighted tree. May God Bless Beyers Staff as they continue to show the same comforting support to other families as they go through the loss of a loved one process. Thank you!

On July 31st my husband and I got the terrible news that our son had passed away at 32 weeks gestation. On Aug 1st, he was born sleeping. We chose Beyers because it was close to our home and was convenient for us. Beyers showed us compassion from the start, didn’t rush our good byes in the hospital with him, allowed us to see him after i was discharged from the hospital and let us be with him before he was cremated. These amazing people didn’t take a penny from us and for that, I’m forever grateful because we were ready to spend whatever it was to bring our baby boy home. It’s an unfortunate thing to say but we will use this funeral home again

Beyers have been extremely helpful with handling my Mom and Stepdad services. Each time they came to the house until the burial service they handled things smoothly. Their staff is very compassionate; you can feel how much they care. The calls a few weeks after the service to check on me and inquire if I needed help with anything was appreciated. They offer guidance on where to get grief counseling for family members when and if you need it. Beyers cares.

When I received a visit from the Pennsylvania State Police, informing my sister in Florida had passed. My first thought was sorry and then how and what to do to get her back home to Pennsylvania. The officer had all the information and numbers of who to call. My sister had all and everything pre-arranged and Purcell Chapel was included. Beyers which previously was Purcell has been our family funeral home since 1978. They have assisted our family with final arrangements for my grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins , my brother and my mom and dad. Death of a family member is such a difficult time in its self, so to have someone that is caring and patient to assist with the details for our loved ones is just a blessing. In todays world, it is very hard find service with a smile, and during a time of disparity to know that someone is going to assist you with all details even the small ones is hard to find. Our experience with Purcell Chapel (Beyers), specifically Keith Sumner was of gentle guidance. We were put at ease and presented with choices we expected but without the “hard sell” aspect we had know from other funeral homes in the past. Realistically, there is a high cost to burial but the price we paid was just what we expected it to be; no surprises only honest, respectful dealings. My mom, sister and I highly recommend Purcell Chapel!

During one of the most difficult times in my life Patrick came to my rescue. He showed the utmost compassion and dedication to provide the service my husband wanted. My husband proudly served his country in two branches of the military, Patrick was able to coordinate both to render full Military honors. Anyone who has dealt with all the red tape required to make everything flow smoothly understands the effort Patrick made on our behalf. I can never know how many others he has helped, but I am sure my friends know how grateful I am for using Beyers for such an important day, thank you Patrick.

The amazing experience we had with Patrick is one that we will never forget. It’s already hard enough coping with the loss of a loved one, but to transfer ashes across states and keep you posted every step of the way, was exactly what our hearts needed! I am not easy to please but I was completely amazed at how helpful and amazing Greg was when my father passed away. He gave us information that we would’ve never known about and he was incredible with getting things done for us. He made everything so wonderful and organized and the presentation for the memorial service was awesome. He was always right there willing to do whatever he could and he did just that. I can’t imagine anyone or anywhere else being any better than what it was. Beyers is the best!

Through the difficult time in losing my son, from not knowing what to do, to where to turn for so many things that needed done, Beyers maintained the highest level of compassion & professionalism to myself & my family to give comfort in a time it was so needed. Eric was so wonderful in everything from assisting us to make the best memory we could have possibly made for our loved one. Pastor Brooks was all I could have hoped for in honoring my son's life.
