Obituary of Rosalie and Bogash ROSALIE BADER BOGASH and MARTIN L. BOGASH Mother and Son of Leesburg, since coming from Atlanta in 2004. Rosalie had a life of beauty, grace and love was born September 15, 1914 in Wilmington, DE the daughter of Joseph and Rae Bader, she married Selig Oscar Bogash who preceded her in death. They had two children the late Martin L. Bogash and daughter, Carol A. Bogash of Arlington, VA Rosalie graduated from the University of Delaware and was a teacher of special needs children, she spoke French, designed and made jewelry. Rosalie was an expert knitter, avid bridge player, gourmet cook, a lover of animals and world traveler, visiting Europe over twenty times. She was a professional woman, working until age 75 as an office manager. Rosalie was on the Board of Trustee's of the Easton, MD Hospital, a volunteer at Fernbank Museum and Dekalb Hospital in Atlanta, GA. With her husband she chaired the North Dorchester Heritage Festival under Governor Theodore McKeldin while living in Hurlock, MD. Rosalie was also a civilian volunteer with the U.S. Army Aircraft Warning Service, a proud member of the Eagles Lodge in Leesburg following in the footsteps of her father a member of the Eagles in Wilmington, Delaware from the 1930's. Martin was born February 5, 1940 in Cambridge, MD the son of Selig and Rosalie and died September 18, 2007, he is survived by his sister Carol A. Bogash. Martin graduated North Dorchester H.S. in Hurlock, MD, the University of MD, and Emory University Law School with a J.D. in Law, and member of Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. Martin worked for Sunbrand Corporation a division of Wilcox and Gibbs for over 30 years retiring as Vice-President. He was a world traveler, going to Europe, Asia and Africa for business and pleasure. He was an avid art collector, reader, lover of animals, amateur photographer and chess player. Services Private Memorial Services were held in their Leesburg home.
