Obituary of Renee Henne Renee Duhon Henne, 47, of Lady Lake, Florida went to be with her Lord Thy Savior on September 20, 2014. Renee was born in Midland Texas to Rex and Donna Lawrence Duhon. Renee moved to Edmond Oklahoma and graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1985. She married her wonderful husband of 25 years, Steven Henne, in 1989 at St Eugene Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, where they embarked on building a family of character and strength. She and her family moved to Lady Lake, Florida in 1997. Renee lived her dream of being a mom and homemaker, raising the loves of her life, her sons, Dexan Henne, 17, and Seth Henne, 16. As a mom she was dedicated to raising her sons to be strong, loving, and caring young men. This is evidenced by both boys' relationships with their family and friends. Each of them is pillars of strength, understanding, and love for all who would ever come into contact with them. Renee's faith in God assisted her in her struggles with R.S.D. and that faith guided her into becoming a rock for both her family and community. Although Renee's personal suffering and pain were remarkable and great, she didn't dwell on her suffering, but instead, focused that energy towards helping other people with R.S.D. and keeping her faith in god. She would spend her sleepless nights counseling and helping others afflicted with R.S.D., knowing that a caring person with love in their heart could help to ease the pain that so many endured. It is well known that Renee' put others needs above those of her own. There are countless stories of her dedication to children and her helping them to find a pathway to success during difficult times. Her devotion to these children was remarkable earning her the adoration of all and the well deserved nickname of, "Mama Henne." Her house (camp Henne) was always filled with the the sounds of happy children who were always welcome day and night.Although Renee's life was cut entirely too short, her legacy of love, kindness, trust, and faith will carry through many generations due to the numerous lives that she impacted.
