Obituary of Marguerite LeBorne Marguerite Louise LeBorne 75, The Villages, FL died Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Louise was born and raised in Washington D.C. She married into the military, thus traveling became her lifestyle while raising four children. Around midlife, she pursued a career of her own, first in the dental profession, then banking and finally settling into the Navy as a civil servant. When it was time, Louise uprooted herself at retirement, moving from San Diego, CA to The Villages, FL, a virtual nirvana for a person who loved to soak up the sunrays while sitting poolside. Someone who always thought of others first, her only indulgence may have been her love for having her nails professionally done. She began her own clothing line as well, handcrafting T-shirts with smiling Santas, bells, turkeys and bunnies, as the occasion dictated, a great hit amongst her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and in 1998 a trip with her sister through northern Europe quickly turned into an unending stream of giggles and laughs due to the many innocent mishaps falling upon them. On one such occasion they tapped the international good nature between two nations' border police to get these wondering tourists reoriented and safely to their connecting train. Years later, she and her sister decided to make a road-trip through a multitude of our States, their search for the perfect greasy spoon remaining a box unchecked. Later in life, she embraced twenty-first century technology becoming an avid armchair shopper. She looked forward to the personal birthday and Christmas cards gratefully sent to her from QVC, who no doubt will miss her as well. With her passion for looking out after and fussing over everyone (especially her grandchildren) but herself - up to the very end - she will truly be missed. She is survived by three of her children, Robert (San Diego, CA), Rick (Cookeville, TN) and Daniel (San Diego, CA); her brother Robert (The Villages, FL) and sisters Roberta (The Villages), Pauline (San Francisco, CA), Christine (Pueblo, CO), Elaine (The Villages, FL); her grandchildren-Christina, Christopher , John, Philip and Sandra. There will be services for her at the 8:30am Mass, Monday, April 8, 2013 at St. Timothy Catholic Church.
