Winson Sparks

January 14, 1959 - December 9, 2021

Winson Mao Sparks II "Butch" (62) of Paisley, FL passed away suddenly December 9, 2021. He was born January 14, 1959 in Columbus, OH. Butch is survived by his dear wife of 17 years, Susan Sparks; his daughter Summer Sparks; his grandchildren Dakota Huck and Kahlei Lynch; his sister Pamela Lindemann (Tommy) of Paisley, FL; his sister-in-laws Joyce Sparks of Jackson, OH and Willa Sparks of Deland, FL; his uncle Conley Sparks; his nieces and nephews Lee Ann DePew, Rebecca Sparks-Driscoll, Natasha Pello, Jay, Bobby, Danny, Pat and Mark Sparks, and Thomas and Timothy Lindemann, along with many great nieces and nephews. Butch was preceded in death by his parents Winson Mao Sparks I and Lois Merle Huey Sparks; and his brothers, Danny and William Sparks. Butch was a legendary baker for Publix Supermarkets for 46 years. His leadership and influence earned him the title of Superman, first by his wife and then filtering to his fellow workers. He loved caring for animals, especially chickens. Butch loved breeding them to find colors and qualities outside of the standard breeds. He also enjoyed gardening and tinkering around the farm. He was a good-hearted man, caring for others over himself and at his own expense. He has left many amazing memories and will be sorely missed A funeral service is scheduled to remember Butch at the Beyers Funeral Home 279 S. Central Ave. in Umatilla, FL. A time of visitation will be on Tuesday, December 14 from 6:00- 8:00 PM. A funeral will happen on Wednesday, December 15 at 11:30 AM. Butch will then be laid to rest at Poinciana Cemetery in Paisley, FL.
