Vincenza Munizzi October 13th 1925- December 10th 2021 Vincenza Munizzi, a resident of Umatilla since 1978, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 96. She was born to Salvatrice Bataglia and Joseph Papaleo in New York City in 1925, and was an only child. As a teen she went to work as a seamstress in the Garment District of New York with her mother. She was married to Valerio Munizzi in 1954, and was his loving wife and restaurant business partner for thirty four years, until his passing. She was a devoted mother, selfless to a fault and lived for her children. Vincenza is survived by her four daughters; Marie Williams of Dime Box, Texas, Stella Munizzi of Umatilla, Florida, Linda Evans of Eustis, Florida, and Julie Peck of Clermont, Florida, her grandchildren Jennifer Goeringer, Jessica Blackstone, and Valerie Peck as well as her grandchildren Phoenix, Sage, and Stella Goeringer. She joined her loving husband in heaven on December 10, 2021 who has been patiently waiting for her for 33 years. Heaven has gained an angel and the world lost another.
