Tony DeFoe, 77, of Leesburg, Florida passed away in Leesburg, Florida on November 13, 2021. He was born in Eustis, Florida on September 21, 1944 to Walter and Marjorie DeFoe. He was a member of Grace Tabernacle in Wildwood, Florida. He was a lifelong resident of Lake, County. He retired from Embarq in Leesburg, Florida after 40 years of service. He was also a member of the National Guard. He is survived by his wife of 53 ½ years in December, 2021: Joan McNair DeFoe; daughter: Rebecca Brown (Lee) of Orange Park, Florida; 4 Grandchildren: Caitlin Cook (Michael) of Paris Island, South Carolina; Holly Brown of Jacksonville, Florida; Abbie Brown of Orange Park, Florida; Gracie Brown of Orange Park, Florida; 3 Great-Granddaughters: Lillian Eloise Cook; Josephine Joy Cook; Olivia Paulina Brown; 1 Great-Grandson: Walter Tobias Gideon Cook; Brother; James Reginald DeFoe (Anna) of Tacoma, Washington. In Lieu of Flowers: Memorial contributions his can be sent to Grace Tabernacle Food Pantry 7279 Warm Springs Ave. Wildwood, Florida 34785. A service will be held on Wednesday November 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Tabernacle in Wildwood, Florida with visitation from 10-11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Washburn Officiating.
