Roy Michael Clark, 68, of Fruitland Park, Florida, passed away in The Villages, Florida on May 24, 2022. He was born in Lepanto, Arkansas on February 8, 1954 to Roy and Evelyn Clark. He was Christian in faith. Roy “Mike” Clark, referred to by his friends as “Smiling Mike” graduated from Clermont High School. After high school, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant. He was stationed in Germany and Korea. Some of his hobbies included: fishing, hunting, working on cars, dancing, and listening to music. He is survived by his children: Kenzi (Trent) Howard of Fruitland Park, Florida; Gatlin Clark of Tavares, Florida; Trish (Shawn) Howell of Starke, Florida; Amber (Eric) Spears of Melbourne, Florida; Dustin Frazier of Starke, Florida; Dezy McGregor of Augusta, Georgia; friend and mother of Kenzi and Gatlin: Wendy Clark; grandchildren: Mia, Millie, Bella, Luke, Trayson, Jackson, and Dallen; siblings: Charlotte, Janice, and Mitchell. A service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 12pm (with visitation from 11-12) at Purcell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Emery King officiating. Interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery. All arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home-Purcell Chapel in Bushnell, Florida.
