Stead, Robert L.; Passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 after a lengthy illness. Affectionately known as Bob to all that loved him, he was born in Port Jervis, NY, August 29, 1946. Beloved & devoted husband to the love of his life Sylvia (nee Jensen). Loving friend to adopted daughter Diana Meneses. Dear brother of Raymond. Beloved brother-in-law of Al & Diane Jensen. Dear uncle of Michele & Andrea Stead, Joseph and Anthony Jensen, Mary Macheska, Ceil Altomare, Grace Paulsen, Linda Zotynia, Marty & Linda Ferber, Kristy Jensen, Kathleen Orlanes and great uncle of Szymus Stead & Mia and Luca Orlanes. Predeceased by mother Marsena Westbrook Stead, brother Joseph Stead, sister-in-law Marie Paton, niece Courtney Jensen, and nephew Edwin Jensen. Bob was a proud member of NJ Local 164 Electrical Union and retired in 2004. A strong man of faith, Bob was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Bushnell, Fl, and a member of Knights of Columbus Our Lady of the Waters Council 12544. Bob's wit and kind heart will be dearly missed. Services will be held at 8:30am on Tuesday, April 12th at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Bushnell, Fl. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Knights of Columbus.
