Robert Lee Nobles

February 14, 1938 - February 10, 2022

Robert L. "Bobby" Nobles, Sr., 83, of Leesburg passed away February 10, 2022.  Bobby was born February 14, 1938, in Blakely, GA to Frank Nobles and Ann Gaffney Sapp.  He was the founder and owner of Nobles' Marine which he started in Leesburg in 1976.  He loved to travel, shop, and especially enjoyed socializing during "cocktail hour".   Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Rosita of Leesburg; his children are, Debra Nobles-Knowles (Larry) of Leesburg, Kathy Wood (Eric) of Jasper, GA, Susan Nobles of Stephens City, VA, Robert L. Nobles, Jr., of Leesburg, Sheila Rose Kewley (Chris) of Fayetteville, GA, Sharon Nobles Moore (Bobby) of Leesburg; his grandchildren are, Geoff (Ashlie), Ana Rose, Mackenzie Rose, Abigail Rose, Kloee Rose, Rosalee and Elena Rose; one great grandchild Grant; and a brother, David Nobles (Judy) of Leesburg.   Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Morrison United Methodist Church beginning at 11 AM.  A visitation will be held Monday, February 14, 2022, from 6-9 PM in the Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Bobby's memory to Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages.
