OBITUARY LANDON JAMES GONZALEZ Landon James Gonzalez, 17, of Altamonte Springs, passed away Wednesday, November 21 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Altamonte Springs. He was a student at Lake Brantley High School. He was a member of the Patriot Marching Band, the pianist for the Jazz Band, played the trumpet for the Concert Band and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Umatilla. Survivors include his parents, Reverend Omar and Christina Gonzalez, sister: Rosalyn Gonzalez, brother: Daniel Gonzalez all of Altamonte Springs, FL; paternal grandparents: Omar & Grace Gonzalez, Alajuela, Costa Rico; maternal grandparents: Marvin & Diane Fray, Greenville, SC; Uncles: Elvis (Kate) Gonzalez, Chicago, IL, Nathan (Diane) Fray, Brazil, Gary (Carolyn) Fray, Brazil; and aunts: Nancy (Ron) Hite, Chicago, IL and Cindy (Bill) Griner, Greenville, SC. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at St. Marks Presbyterian Church, Altamonte Springs, FL. A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Beyers Funeral Home, Umatilla. Funeral services be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church of Umatilla with Reverend David Judd officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park, Gotha, FL. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the Lake Brantley High School Band, Lake Brantley High School, Altamonte Springs, FL. Beyers Funeral Home, Umatilla is in charge of arrangements.
