Kathleen Rose (72) of Leesburg, FL passed away suddenly on January 27, 2022. She was born August 26, 1949 in Eustis, FL to Albert and Ora Lee (McKenny) Simmons. Kathleen is survived by her children, Tony King of Umatilla, FL, Charles King of FL, Donna Dobson of Edgewater, FL and Paula Morton of GA; grandchildren, Troy, Jessica, Tyler, Gage, Candice, Karissa and Chase; 3 great grandchildren; siblings Helen, Sue and Kenneth along with nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Ora Lee Simmons, her husband Paul Rose and her sister Shirley. Kathleen did a number of things during her life. Among those vocations, she was a packer/grader for Golden Gem and later, she become a home health provider. She was a big fan of the old television programs such as Gunsmoke, Price is Right and especially the daytime soap The Young and The Restless. She was humorous and loved to give others that gift by making them laugh. She also enjoyed caring for and loving her dogs There will be a funeral service for Kathleen at the Beyers Funeral Home, 279 S. Central Ave. in Umatilla, FL on Sunday, February 6 at 2:00 pm.
