Jewell Sloan Stansell, 92, of Groveland, Lake County, Florida, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022. Jewell was born to her parents of Dave and Nelia Bridges Sloan on August 31, 1929. She is survived by her children: Carol (Darrel) Tomlinson, Lynn Murray, Jan (David) Parkes, Dave (tina) Murray. She was blessed with 10 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren and one brother Edward L. Sloan. Jewell graduated from Groveland High School in 1948. She retired from the Lake County School System, where she was bus driver, a lunchroom worker and aid for 33 years. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Mascotte. Funeral services will be held at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Mascotte on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 pm and the funeral will be at 3:00 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg.
