James Anthony Walegorski

James Anthony "Butch" Walegorski, 80, of Bushnell, Florida passed away on April 23, 2022. He was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on October 23, 1941 to Walter and Theresa Walegorski. He taught R.O.T.C. at Boca Ciega High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. He retired from The U.S. Army after 28 years as a Command Sgt. Major and also served in the Vietnam War. He was a retired school teacher from Ohio University and also The University of Atlanta. He is survived by his wife: Lanita Walegorski of Bushnell, Florida; 2 sons: James Walegorski; Travis Allbritton of Tifton, Georgia; 3 daughters: Karen Walegorski; Brittany Soule of Bushnell, Florida; Antares Morphew (Jacob) of Dade, City, Florida; 3 Grandchildren: Damian Wright; Jessa Johnston; Alex Morphew; 1 sister: Norma Walegorski of Florida. He is preceded in death by: his parents: Walter and Theresa Walegorski; brother: Walter Walegorski; sister: Vicky Walegorski. All arrangements are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home Chapel.
