James Clayton Lee

James C. "Jim" Lee, 86 of Leesburg, FL passed away February 9, 2022. He was born August 3, 1935 in Lisbon, FL to Woodrow Wilson and Bernice Porter Lee. Mr. Lee was a veteran of the Unites States Army. He worked for many years at Minute Maid in Leesburg, retiring in 1996 and was a longtime member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Leesburg. Jim was an avid bowler and a member of the National Bowling Hall of Fame and additionally enjoyed playing pool. Survivors include: wife Norma of North Manchester, IN; children: Carol (David) Marsh of Leesburg, Milton (Carolyn) Delong of Leesburg, Terry Hammond of Ft. Wayne, IN and Monica (Stephen) Flannery of Akron, IN; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and 3 sisters: Rita Cunningham of Orlando, Norma Stallard of Umatilla and Marilyn Temple of McComb, MS. He was preceded in death by his wife June in 2006 and a brother Wayne. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday February 15, 2022 beginning at 1 PM in the Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg with Pastor Edward Barnett officiating. A visitation will be held 2 hours (11 AM - 1PM) prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg. The family requests all attendees wear masks.
