Pastor James E. Keegan (Pastor Jim), 61, of Fruitland Park, FL ran into the arms of Jesus on July 22, 2022. His life on earth was ministry and dedication to living and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was preceded in birth into eternal life by his parents Clifford and Vivian (née Wittington). He leaves to cherish fond memories: his wife of 35 years Wanda (née Johnson); sons Andre and Christian; parents-in-law Kenneth and Loretta D. Johnson; brothers-in-law Butch (Sandra), Rob (Robin); nieces and nephews Kady Ferrel (Curtis), Halley, Shane, and Macey; and many loved uncles, aunts, and cousins. He served in various pastoral ministries at New Life Church (Fruitland Park, FL) and previously at Sugaw Creek Church (Charlotte, NC), Bethel Church (Cornelius, NC), and Living Waters Church (Wendell, ID). He loved and touched the lives of many. When he was needed, he was there – to be a reflection of Christ’s boundless love. Jim is leaping, dancing, and praising God, more fully alive than he has ever been. We will worship and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ in celebration of Jim’s life on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Connection Point (formerly New Life) Church, 193 E. La Vista St., Fruitland Park, FL 34731 and by livestream (link will be available at www.facebook.com/newlifefp). All are welcome.
