George J Richardson, 83, of Astor, Fl passed away Friday June 17, 2022 in Deland, Fl He was born in Flint, Michigan. to George Buchanan McCullen and Arlene Richardson. He moved to Astor from Flint, Michigan in 1971 He was a retired assembly line worker in the medical manufacturing industry and a Baptist. He enjoyed working on vehicles and off roading. He also served for many years as a volunteer firefighter for the Astor station of Lake County Fire Dept. He is survived by his wife Brenda, two sons Jason Carl (Brandy) Richardson and James Dean Richardson both of Astor, F. l One daughter Melody Anne (Rusty) Peterson of Cassia, Fl. One sister Sandra Mattson of Flint, Mich. Six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Richardson at a later date. Beyers Funeral Home, Astor in charge of arrangements.
