He was employed as a lead man at Cemex in Center Hill, Florida for 37 years. He loved fishing, racing and his family. He is survived by his wife: Vivian Cook; 4 sons: Jonathan Cook (Rebecca) of Center Hill, Florida; Michael Cook (Paige) of Bushnell, Florida; Bobby Cook (Haley) of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; and Brandon Cook (Hope) of Mt. Dora, Florida; daughter: Katie Pinson (James) of Center Hill, Florida; 12 grandchildren: Morgan Keller, Cody Cook, Patience Pinson, Madison Atchison, Chase Layne, Taylor Cook, Kylee Cook, Rilee Pinson, Bryce Pinson, Easton Cook, Liam Cook, and Reece Cook; 4 brothers: James Cook (Teresa) of Dawsonville, Georgia; John Cook (Ann) of Dekalb, Texas; David Cook (Cindy) of Uriah, Alabama; and Larry Cook of Ocoee, Florida; and 3 sisters: Minnie Cook (Leon) of Webster, Florida; Jo Ann Ranier (Benny) of Dekalb, Texas; and Mary Cook Burk (Rex) of Webster, Florida. He is predeceased by parents: Richard and Susie Cook, and sister: Rhonda Cook. A service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Purcell Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with Pastor Raymond Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery.
