Derwood Ossie Marshall, Jr., 57, of Citrus Springs, Florida passed away in Tampa, Florida on April 22, 2022. He was born in Miami, Florida on April 13, 1965 to Derwood Sr. and Peggy Marshall. He was a member of the York Street Church of God in Bushnell, Florida. Mr. Marshall was a retired groundskeeper for the Florida National Cemetery. He proudly served his country and retired from the United States Army. He loved his momma and two sons. They were number one in his life. He is survived by his mother: Peggy Joan Marshall of Citrus Springs, Florida; Derwood and Robin had two handsome sons: Justin Marshall (Melinda) of Beverly Hills, Florida and Austin Marshall of Bushnell, Florida; 5 grandchildren; brothers: Kenny Marshall (Kim) of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; John Marshall of Citrus Springs, Florida; Christopher Marshall (Alison) of Citrus Springs, Florida; sisters: Shanda Vann (Shane) of Wahoo, Florida and Darlene Dobson of Citrus Springs, Florida. A service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. (with visitation from 10:00 to11:00 am) at Purcell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel Kellum and Pastor Dale Marshall officiating.
