Darrell Eugene Brooker

Darrell Eugene Brooker (76) was born on November 20, 1944 in Warren, Pennsylvania. He passed away on October 29, 2021 in Leesburg, Florida. He was a loving husband, attentive father, brother and friend to many. Darrell retired from the City of Tavares Parks and Recreation Department where he worked taking care of the baseball fields and complexes. Darrell loved the STEELERS and was a true die-hard fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and playing softball when he was younger. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Ruth Brooker. He is survived by his loving wife Donna M. Brooker, wife of 58 years of Fruitland Park, Florida, and three daughters, Linda (Douglas) Coldiron, Lori (John) Allshouse, and Barbara (Lenny) Turner. He also had 6 grandchildren, Kellie, Heather, Kristy, Dana, Tiffani, and Nick, along with 4 great-grandchildren, Gavin, Summer, Kennedy, and Camden. He is also survived by his brothers Robert (Bob) Brooker, Harry (Bud) Brooker Jr., William (Bill) Brooker, and sister Betty Tower. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 6, 2021 at 11am at Life Church Assembly of GOD where he worshipped for 33 years.
