Carole Ann Krawitz, 79, of Leesburg, FL, died Saturday, May 7, 2022. She was born May 18, 1942, in Chicago, IL. Carole moved to Leesburg with her husband Ted in 2003, from Pembroke Pines, FL. While in South Florida, Carole was involved with the Southern Stars Quilt Guild and continued her love of quilting even once they moved. She made and donated quilts and other handmade items for the homeless children at Leesburg Elementary for several years. She also collected funds, food and school supplies for these same children. At one point she even made doggie quilts for the stray dogs of Pooches in Pines dog rescue. Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Krawitz and is survived by their two daughters, Julie (Mark) Bishop of Clermont, FL, Tracy Calvino of Pembroke Pines, FL, and granddaughter Nicole Morales of Pembroke Pines, FL.
