Barbara Coleman Mizell

Barbara Coleman Mizell, 82, of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida passed away in Lecanto, Florida on April 14, 2022. She was born in Plant City, Florida to Everett and Myrtle Raulerson. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida. Mrs. Mizell taught kindergarten and Sunday School at Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa for many years. She was the owner and operator of Alloy Supply Company (Stainless Steel and Aluminum Fabrication Company) of Lakeland, Florida. She enjoyed fishing and loved sharing her catch with her friends and family. She liked hunting, going to the beach and spending time outdoors. She also enjoyed serving on several committees at her church. She shared an abundance of love and support in the missionary field and provided many supplies and needs for her sister and brother-in-law who were serving as missionaries in Central America. She loved all of her family and a had a close relationship with her nieces, nephews and extended family members. She is survived by her husband: William "Bill" Mizell of Lake Panasoffkee, FL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Julian (Pete) and Carolyn White of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; nephews: David Gower of Zephyrhills, FL; Jason White (Kim) of Ocala, FL; Bradley White (Samantha) of Lake Wales, FL; adopted niece: Lisa Archbell (DJ) and her daughter Johnna; great nieces: Jordyn (Zack) and Regan; great nephew: Justin. She is preceded in death by her first husband: Ronald Coleman; sister: Dorothy Britt; brother-in-law: William "Bill" Britt. Arrangements have been entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home, Bushnell, Florida.
