Antone Weiler

January 16, 1933 - March 14, 2022

Antone "Tony" Weiler passed away on March 14, 2022. Tony is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy, two children, Alan, and Karen (Ben) Maddox, one grandson, two nieces, and one second niece. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and worked with the Boy Scouts of America throughout high school and college in which he opened up camps each weekend, ran hikes, and directed camp conservation, forestry, and swimming. He served in the US Navy for 23 years and retired as a Commander. He earned many commendations for his service to our country including the Bronze Star and the DoD Meritorious Service Medal. While in the Navy, he completed his MBA degree. After his Navy career, he worked for Sperry, Rockwell and Lockheed corporations. Tony was a member of the VFW, Toastmasters Int'l, MOAA, and The Villages Rotary Club. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home of Lady Lake, Florida.
