William Charles Brewer

William Charles Brewer Jr. went home to Jesus on November 3, 2020 at home surrounded by his wife and family. Bill was born in Lakeland, Florida where he was raised by his mother, Wilma Athey and stepfather, Edward Athey. He married the love of his life and best friend, Susie Morrison Brewer in April of 2016. He is survived by his wife Susie, son Cody and daughter Lacie, as well as numerous family members and loved ones. Bill and Susie attended St. James Church in Leesburg, Fl. Bill worked at Agewave Solutions for more than 20 years as a computer drafter where he designed houses for The Villages. His dedication and integrity to his work was above reproach. His coworkers were a family and he loved working with them and sharing life with them. Bill was an incredible and loving husband to his wife, Susie. He was a wonderful father who supported his children with love and encouragement to work hard and do their best in everything they do. Bill was loved and cherished by his family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Athey. Bill has been greatly loved and supported by his Aunt and Uncle, Shirley and Richard "Dickie" Smith and his Aunt and Uncle Stacie and Gilbert Chichester. Bill was also welcomed and greatly loved by his in-laws, George and Paula Morrison and sibling's in-law, Rhonda, Tonda, Brandon and the entire Morrison Family. Bill never met a stranger and always made everyone he met feel welcomed and cared for. His smile could warm your heart and could brighten anyone's day. His favorite thing to do was to greet passersby with a warm "Howdy" and see if he could get them to smile. He enjoyed the beauty of the mountains, working on cars, spending a day on the boat, and spending time with his wife and children. He loved history and anything to do with WWII. He loved helping others with projects and would always take the time to figure out a solution to any problem. He is described by his wife as a man of God who was full of integrity, hard-working, full of love, an amazing husband and friend.
