Timothy Allen Green

Timothy Allen Green, born August 30, 1951; a devoted Christian, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away in the comfort of his home on July 12th, 2025 at the age of 73. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Mildred Green; his brother, Kenneth L. Green; his sisters, Mary Joe Taylor, Jacqueline Branam and Janice Tietge; his beloved wife, Elizabeth Carfield-Green; and his mother-in-law, Nancy Calcott. He is survived by his children: Tammy Verdegem (Luke), Lana Dunn (Garrin), Nathan Green (Lexy), Amanda Alter (Adam), Shane Carfield, Gaelyn Carfield-Green, and Kimmy Carfield. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Chelsea Crespo, Mark Dieffenbach, Noah Osborne, Andrea Ippolito, Taittyn Fischer, Logan Dunn, Lily Dunn, Brody Verdegem Matthew Dieffenbach, Payson Davis, Luke Dieffenbach, Creighton Davis, Keegan Verdegem Aiden Alter, Rachel Dieffenbach, MaKenzie Carfield, Harbor Dieffenbach, Avery Alter, Case Green, Anna Alter, as well as numerous great-grandchildren. Additionally, Timothy leaves behind his brother James Terrel Green (Linda), his sisters Aileen Bell, Brenda Hannah, and Barbara Krug; his sister-in-law Kathy Tamblyn (John), his brother-in-law Kyle Calcott (Raquel) and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Known for his jovial spirit, Timothy had a gift for making everyone feel welcome as if they were family. His laughter was contagious, stories were compelling, and his wisdom was a source of strength for those around him. Timothy could be found preparing his lawn for award level manicuring, ensuring safe chauffeuring of his grandchildren and loved ones, or participating in his favorite hobby of shopping for the correct size and color baked potatoes. He was a man who selflessly gave more than could ever be returned - always ready to lend a helping hand, share a kind word, or offer a prayer. A devoted provider having retired from CSX after 47 years of service, Timothy took great pride in caring for his family. He built a life grounded in faith, integrity, and generosity. He will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always remembered. It is our hope that his legacy, faith, and kindness lives on in each person that had the honor of knowing him. Timothy was a proud and active member at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Oxford, Florida where his celebration of life will be held on Thursday July 17th, 2025. Viewing will begin at 10:00am, service by Pastor Cameron Cato at 11:00am, followed by a procession to his graveside service at Pine Level Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Beyers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in honor of Timothy Allen Green.
