Obituary of Theresa Niehus Theresa Miller Niehus, age 49, of Fruitland Park, Florida passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009 in Sumterville, Florida. She was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Inverness, FL. in 1980, later moving to Fruitland Park in 2001. Mrs. Niehus was a phlebotomist with Quest Labs of Leesburg, an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness FL. working as a Sunday School Teacher and the Church Youth Dept as a Youth Leader. She also worked with the Lake County Sheriff's Office as a volunteer with the D.A.R.E. program working with her husband. She loved her computer, facebook, farmville, family, cooking, crafts decorating her yard for Christmas and gardening. She was preceded in death by her Mother: Joan Miller; Grandparents:Arthur & Pauline Muzzy and Burt and Marie Miller; Mother in law: Pauline Niehus. She is survived by her Loving Husband: Walt Niehus, Fruitland Park, FL.; Step Daughter: Veronica (Justin) Palmer, Beverly Hills, FL.; Father: David R. Miller, Sr. and Step Mother: Betty Miller of Hoschton, GA.; 4 Brothers: David (Patti) Miller, Inverness, FL.; Bill (Brenda) Miller, Seattle, WA.; John ( Karen) Miller, Tampa, FL.; Joe (Lori) Miller, Inverness, FL.; Step Brothers: Bobby Horton, VA.; Jimmy Horton, Bahamas; Step Sisters: Barbara Ward, Orlando; Pam Caldwell, Mississippi; Sister in law: Rose (Charlie) Fry, Crystal River, FL.; Nieces Melissa Miller, Christine Miller, Nichole Miller; Nephews: Roman Miller and Frank Keller; Numerous aunt, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa Marie Niehus will be said 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 9, 2008 at Our lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father James B. Johnson, celebrant. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery, Fruitland Park, Florida. Friends may call from 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday Oct. 8, 2009 at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home where a Service of Remembrance will be held at 7:00 P.M. with Chaplain Bob Whitworth of Lake County Sheriff's Office, Officiating. In Lieu of flowers friends who wish may send memorials to the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranch, P.O. Box 2000, Live Oak, Florida 32060. Visitation Friends may call from 6-8:00 P.M.
