Mrs. Teresa Lynn Williams went Home unexpectedly in ORMC on 06/06/23 in Orlando, FL. at the age of 63. Teresa is survived by her husband, Jonathan B. Williams; children, Jonathan B. Williams II (Caitlyn) , Alicyn B. Williams, Elias J. Williams, Elsa V. Williams, Emibelle O. Williams; siblings; Matthew Davis, Connie Smith, Mark Davis, Daniel Davis, Catherine Canonico, Timothy Davis; grandchildren; River S. Williams, Lilyana W. Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents, James E. Davis and Reba Davis. Teresa was born on 03/22/60 in Battlecreek, MI to James E. Davis and Reba Davis. She graduated from Olathe High School in 1978 as a member of Who’s Who of American High School Students. She married Jonathan B. Williams, whom she met after church one evening and married six months later in 1988. After moving to Overland Park, Kansas, Teresa began working as an executive secretary before pursuing all her passion projects over the course of 18 years. These projects included running a daycare, making wedding cakes, catering, interior decorating, flower arrangements, painting murals, and many other activities/occupations. The couple welcomed two children (plus one who went Home before birth) into their home in Kansas before moving to Florida in 2006. After the move, Teresa and her family opened a café that they ran from 2006 to 2010. In 2013, Teresa and her husband began taking care of foster children until 2018 when Elias, Elsa and Emibelle officially joined the family and became the couple’s primary focus. Her children remember her as a kind, passionate, loving mother who encouraged them in every ambition and reminded them of God’s plan for them. Teresa was passionate about homemaking and often indulged in cooking, baking, painting, gardening and home remodeling. She was a faith filled individual who loved her Bible and who was gifted at displaying God’s hand in her life. As a devout member of the First Baptist Church Okahumpka, she would listen to the sermons online on the days she could not attend in person. She was a loved and admired member of the Leesburg, FL community. To know her is to love her. The funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. EST on 06/10/23 at First Baptist Church Okahumpka, with a reception to follow at the same location. Visitation will take place 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Todd Herold will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Teresa’s life.
