Stephanie Theresa Preddie

Stephanie Theresa Preddie passed away in Orlando, FL on October 7th 2022, at the age of 81. Stephanie was born in San Fernando, on Isle of Trinidad and Tobago on June 20th 1941 and migrated to the United States in 1970. She lived in New York City until she retired to Leesburg, FL in 2007. Stephanie was employed by Citi Group for over 30 years and she was very proud of her work as a loan officer for many corporations. Stephanie dedicated herself to the service of the lord and remained faithful and commitment to God throughout her life. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church, NY, upon moving to Leesburg she joined Frist Baptist Church of Okahumpka, FL. She served in various ministries in church including Sunday school teacher, group leader, and speaker, but her greatest ministry was talking to everyone she met about the Love of God. Stephanie loved unconditional, served without expectation of reward and was always available to help everyone in need. Stephanie is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Fredrick Preddie; her loving son Curtis Lezama; her stepdaughter Kenisha Preddie-Burgess; her brother Joseph Lezama; her nephews and nieces, and many other family and friends. Stephanie, also known as ‘mame Stephanie’ will be missed by everyone she came into contact with. Service for Mrs. Stephanie Preddie will be held on Sunday October 16th 2022, with viewing starting at 1pm and service following at 3pm at the Beyers Funeral Home Chapel in Leesburg, FL. Burial will take place at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, New Jersey.
