In Loving Memory of Ronald Woodrow “Ron/Ronnie” Bailey June 30, 1950 – July 26, 2025 Ronald Woodrow Bailey, lovingly known as Ron and/or Ronnie, passed away peacefully in Leesburg, Florida, on July 26, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on June 30, 1950, in Miami, Florida, Ron was the cherished son of Woodrow F. Bailey and Christine B. Bailey. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Nadlyn A. Bailey (74), to whom he was happily married for 56 years. Their lifelong partnership was a testament to deep love, commitment, and support. Throughout more than half a century together, Ron and Nadlyn built a family and a life rooted in love, faith, and shared adventures. His devotion to Nadlyn was central to his character, and their marriage stood as a loving foundation for all those who knew them. He was a proud and caring father to his daughters, Lisa L. Bailey (56) and Carol A. Diaz (53). Ron’s legacy continues through his grandchildren: Jessica N. Santiago (32), Alexys M. Karner (27), Jayme M. Karner (23), and Ahren V. Diaz (21); and his great-grandchildren: Alina Santiago (7), Adonis Santiago (2), Sophie M. Foreman (5), Waylon J. Herrick (20 months), and Miley G. Herrick (2 months). He is also survived by his beloved sibling, Carol A. Craigmyle (72) his loving sister-in-law Mary Jo Walker and his nephews Grady Moree and Brian Moree he was also close and missed his cousin Joseph Perrotto he was more like a brother than a cousin; and extended family. A man of many passions, his love for adventure shone through in his hobbies: flying airplanes, diving, surfing, and fishing. He also nurtured a lifelong love of trains and model train sets, delighting in the intricate details and the joy they brought him and his family. Ron’s passion for trains reflected his appreciation for creativity and nostalgia, filling his life with happiness and wonder. Beyond these, Ron loved to restore vintage vehicles, including his cherished 1920 Ford Model T and his 1956 Ford truck with 4 on the floor, finding joy in bringing these classic pieces of automotive history back to life. Ron also enjoyed relaxing by watching his favorite TV shows and movies, finding joy and entertainment in those moments as part of his life. He was a man of strong faith in the Baptist church. Those who knew Ron remember him for his unwavering love for his family—especially his wife, Nadlyn, whom he loved with all his heart. He was caring, adventurous, and always ready to share a story and a laugh. Ron’s memory will live on in the lives of those he touched, and the values he embodied—love, integrity, and joy—will continue to inspire. At Ron’s request, there will be no celebration of life or formal service. The family asks that you honor his memory by spending time with your loved ones and embracing life’s adventures, just as he did. Rest peacefully, Ron—you will be dearly missed and forever loved.
