Obituary of Raymond Oille Raymond A. Oille, 78, The Villages, FL died Wednesday, April 24, 2013. He was born in Detroit, MI and moved to The Villages in 1997 from Cape May, NJ. After a successful career in the United States Coast Guard he retired in 1973 then worked for the State of New Jersey, retiring again in 1997. While in the Coast Guard he served as Officer in Charge of both Moriches and Montauk Coast Guard Stations and received the Coast Guard Achievement Medal for his contributions in the area of training. Ray was a Mason, a member of Star Lodge in Millville, NJ and a member of Lake Weir Kiwanis Club. In The Villages he was a member of the Lighthouse Club, the Coast Guard Club, New Jersey Club and Miata Club. He was a member of the Special Military Active Retired Travel Club (SMART), Florida Sunshine Chapter of SMART and a charter member of the Lady Lake Good Sam Club. He was an active member of the Weirsdale Presbyterian Church. His hobbies included camping, reading, watching cowboy movies and traveling with RV friends. Survivors include his wife, Marie, The Villages; daughters Jennifer Roundtree, Centralia, WA; Dianna Oille, Millville, NJ and Suzanne Oille, Millville, NJ; foster son Al Corado, Wilsonville, OR; stepson Eric Peterson, Charlotte, NC; 8 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 2 great granddaughters. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Weirsdale Presbyterian Church with interment at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Weirsdale Presbyterian Church, 16303 SE 137th Court, Weirsdale, FL 32195-0269.
