Obituary of Paula Countryman Paula Kay Countryman, 48, lost her battle to cancer at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, Florida on April 27th, 2012. She is now rejoicing in the arms of her Maker. She owned and managed Swept Away, a residential and commercial cleaning company for close to six years prior to being diagnosed with colon cancer. Even then, she continued to work as her health permitted. She took pride in her company, the work she provided, and the people she had the privilege of knowing through Swept Away. In earlier years, she worked as a teacher's assistant at Leesburg High School, aiding in the educational development of special education students. She was all about "tough love" and her students respected her and loved her in return. Paula had a profound love of nature. She enjoyed going to the beach and admiring the sunsets and walks along the shoreline. She fed the seagulls and collected shells. She loved gardening at home and was knowledgeable about a multitude of plants and flowers. She often went hiking, and more often than not, came home with a "clipping" of some plant she wanted to add to her collection. She was married, Paula Kay Terry, to William E. Countryman Jr. on February 21st, 1997. He survives her in Lady Lake, Florida. She is also survived by her grandparent: Donna Winfield of Ocala, Florida; parents: Paul Terry of Adrian, Georgia and Helen Bowman of Ocala, Florida; her brother: Bobby Terry of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughters: Chelsy (Jason) Fazio of Oxford, Florida and Amber Morales of Ocala, Florida; and her grandchildren; Lucca Jon Fazio (8), Jolei Kay Fazio (3), Adriel Giovanni Morales Jr. II (6), and Saul Oden Morales (4). She was Pentecostal in Faith and a member of the Church of God in Lady Lake. She loved the Lord with her whole body and soul. Not a day went by that her decisions weren't preceded by prayer and thanks to God. She was His humble servant and tried to spread the Word with all whom she encountered. Beyer's Funeral Home will be providing memorial services on Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 at the Lady Lake Church of God. A private, family viewing will be from 5:30pm-6:00pm. Viewing for friends and family alike will be from 6:00pm-7:00pm and the service itself will begin at 7:00pm with no official time of closure. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages and to Lady Lake Church of God are welcomed and greatly appreciated.
