Obituary of Mary Strohman Mary F. Strohman THE VILLAGES- Mary F. Strohman, 89 passed into heaven, Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Mrs. Strohman was born in Blue Creek, WV. on December 9, 1920 and resided her adult life in Braintree, MA. and Ossipee, NH. For the past 27 years she spent the winter months as a snowbird in St. Petersburg and The Villages, FL. Mary enjoyed golf, Yankee swap Christmas parties with the family, entertaining large groups of friends and relatives, playing cards with her friends, volunteer services to the Ossipee Concerned Citizens, Meals on Wheels and associated church functions. A favorite activity would be to bake breads and pies for all of her family to enjoy. She was the most unselfish, caring and giving person, always putting the wishes and needs of others before her own. Survivors include her husband Joseph of 67 years, son Joseph Jr. and daughter-in- law Laura of Albion, ME., daughter Patricia and son-in-law David, of Stoughton, MA. son Mark and daughter"in-law Pat, of The Villages, FL. son Richard of Worcester, MA. and sister Margaret of Salem, WV. Eight Grand Children and Two Step Grand Children, Kristina, Kimberely, Jeff, Joseph III, John, Jason, Cathi, Bryan, Eric and Jonathan. Fifteen Great Grand Children, Erin, Zachery, Dustin, Andrew, Joshua, Courtney, Brooklyn, Mark, Jordan, Kristin, Ryan, Chandler, Reagan, Kennedy and Hayden, Four Step Grand Children, Caitlyn, Kody, Alexander and Carley and One Great Great Grand Child, Joel (JP) A memorial Service will be held at Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake, FL. on Monday May 3, 2010 at 3:00 PM. Family and friends may call at the funeral one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Burial will be at Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree, Mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Foundation and or Diabetes Foundation. Visitation Family and friends may call at the funeral one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
