Obituary of Louise Jalbert Louise (Nastasia) Jalbert 86, of Lady Lake died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late Rachel and Gennaro Nastasia and was a long time resident of Lawrence and North Andover, Massachusetts before retiring with her husband, Maurice, in 1993 to The Villages in Lady Lake FL. She was a parishioner at St. Timothy's Catholic Church. Louise will be remembered for her love and support to her family and friends. She was known for her great kindness and positive outlook, and loved reading, puzzles, playing cards and games. She was a lifelong learner and earned her Associates degree from North Essex Community College after putting her daughters through school. She was an active volunteer in the Villages community, enjoyed music, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a tireless champion of her children and grandchildren. Louise was the beloved wife of 54 years of the late Maurice Jalbert. She is survived by her three daughters, her devoted caregiver Judy Wright of Lady Lake, FL, Claire Jalbert and her husband David Salminen of St. Paul, MN, and Linda Jalbert-Hajjar and her husband Scott of North Andover, MA. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Jeanne, Amanda and Rachel Wright, and Jessica, Lindsay and Steven Hajjar. Louise was predeceased by her 4 siblings. Louise is also survived by her sister-in-law, Kay Nastasia, and brother-in-law Normand Jalbert, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends in The Villages. Louise's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to her friends, and the staff at Freedom Pointe for their loving care during the past year. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, May 18 at 2:00 pm at Beyers Funeral Home in Lady Lake, FL.
