Lillie Mae Foster, born on July 9, 1950, in Wildwood, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, in The Villages, Florida. Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, devotion, and love for her family. She was a cherished Christian woman whose gentle spirit, steady presence, and caring heart touched all who knew her. Lillie lived her life with quiet strength and a deep commitment to those she loved, and she will be remembered with gratitude and affection by her family and friends. Lillie graduated from Wildwood High School in 1968. She found her greatest calling in the home, where she devoted herself to caring for her two daughters and later watching over her grandchildren with patience and tenderness. Her life as a homemaker was marked by selfless love and faithful service. She understood the blessing of family and gave of herself freely, creating a home filled with warmth, comfort, and lasting memories. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured each member with a love that was steadfast and sincere. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John Foster; her daughters, Christine (Mike) Reames and Mary Beth (Dustin) Windham; her grandson, Ethan Brockmeyer (significant other Bre Grigsby), her granddaughters, Danielle (Shea) Lape, Eva and Eliza Reames and her great granddaughter, Aven Brockmeyer. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Cypret, Marie Vick, and Hilda (Henry Sr.) Toth; her brothers, Henry (Bonnie) Peavy and Roy (Patti) Peavy Jr; and her brothers in law, Jim (Karen) Foster, Denis (Diana) Foster, and sister-in-law Denise Duwve, and many other family members. Each of these loved ones will carry forward the memory of her kindness, her strength, and her unwavering devotion. Lillie is preceded in death by her parents, Marcella and Roy Peavy, Sr. Lillie especially enjoyed time spent with her family, and those moments were among the greatest joys of her life. She found happiness in being present for the people she loved, whether through simple conversation, shared meals, or the everyday blessings of home and family life. She also had a special interest in birdwatching, a pastime that reflected her appreciation for the quiet beauty of God’s creation. As a woman of Christian faith, Lillie lived with the hope and assurance that comes from trusting in the Lord. Her life was guided by values of humility, compassion, and devotion, and she served as an example of the grace that can be found in a faithful life. Those who knew her will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose presence brought peace and encouragement. Her legacy is written not only in the family she loved so dearly, but also in the countless small acts of care and kindness that defined her days. Though her earthly journey has ended, the memory of Lillie will remain a blessing to all who were privileged to know her. Her family takes comfort in the promise of eternal life and in the hope of reunion through Christ. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held at Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg, FL on Monday April 27th, 2026, at 10 am for visitation and service to follow at 11 am.
