Obituary of Leo Lancellotti Leo D. Lancellotti, age 74, of The Villages, Florida died Sunday, April 14, 2013 in The Villages. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts and came to The Villages in 2004 from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Mr. Lancellotti was a retired steelworker. Leo loved life in The Villages, vacations in Aruba, RVing, playing cards, golf, watching Patriot games and just spending time with his family and friends. Leo served proudly in the United States Marine Corp during the Cuban Crisis and was a member of the The Villages Marine Corp League, St Vincent dePaul Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 347, Lady Lake and the Rhode Island Club. Surviving are his wife of 48 years: Diane J. Lancellotti, The Villages, FL.; Son: Dean F. (Lori) Lancellotti, Seekonk, RI; Daughter: Kris J. (Robert) Morrill, Pawtucket, RI; Brother: Robert Lancellotti, CA.; 4 Sisters: Joan Bettcher, N.H.; Carol McGrath, CA.; Nancy Sullivan, MA.; Sally Petreyko, CA.; 5 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 8:30 A.M. Friday, April 19, 2013 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at 10:30 AM where full military honors will be afforded by The Villages Marine Corp League. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162; St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Building Fund, 5323 E CR 462, Wildwood, FL 34785 or a charity of your choice.
