Kenneth R. Ouellette

Kenneth R. Ouellette, 77, of Wildwood, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, having been surrounded by countless loved ones in the days prior. He was born on July 8, 1944 in Massachusetts to Alfred & Alice Ouellette and grew up in Salem where he spent his childhood before enlisting in the service. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force World Wide, of which he served for slightly over 20 years spanning from 1964-1984, inclusive of time spent overseas in Vietnam. Following his time with the Air Force he led a successful career with Swisher Tobacco Company while living in Rochester, New Hampshire until his retirement. Ken was a lover of football and could be found rooting for his home team, the New England Patriots - a pastime he enjoyed sharing with his mother especially. He enjoyed traveling with his wife whether it be a local getaway, a cruise, or a road trip to visit children and their families. However, what Ken enjoyed more than anything in life is time spent with loved ones. For years he could always be found with a video camera in tow and he would happily record all of our family's special moments - beaming with pride from behind the lens. Memories captured that we shall cherish forever. He found such joy in seeing his loved ones exceed in life and was always our biggest cheerleader - never afraid to dish out some of the best "tough love" he could because he just cared so deeply; (and we all secretly came to expect it and loved receiving it.) Ken is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Maria, his children Ilene (Cedric,) John (Kim), Donna (Peter,) and Laura (Stephen,) along with his nine grandchildren, (Denise, Mathew, Breanne, Lauren, Christina, Gabrielle, CJ, Cierra, and Austin,) as well as six great-grandchildren, (Keiley, Josiah, Koltyn, Kingston, Jamisen and Vincent,) his brother, Ronald, nieces and nephews. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Alice Ouellette as well as his son, Michael Ouellette. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Garden of Worship in Belleview, Fl.
