John Alexander Sanchez

John Alexander Sanchez, at age 22, passed away on May 28th, 2024. He passed at Advent Health Hospital in Altamonte Springs surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Miami, Florida on December 3rd, 2001 to Ernesto and Johanna Sanchez. John enjoys spending quality time with his family members and closest friends. He also loves playing with his puppy named Pluto. His favorite color is navy blue and has a Chevrolet Camaro in this color. He really loves sport and luxury cars. His favorite musical artist is Future and Metro Boomin. His favorite pastime is to play video games on his computer or gaming consoles. He plays a lot of Halo and Super Mario games. He also loves to play Mafia with the family. Some of John’s favorite places to eat were Panda Express, Yambo, Chick- Fil-A, Red Lobster, sushi from Cowfish, and Starbucks. He loves to put hot sauce on all his food. He also loves to go to theme parks, especially Universal Studios around Halloween time for their Halloween Horror Nights event. His favorite ride at Universal Studios is the E.T ride and would use the name Jebidayah. His favorite ride at Disney World is It’s Tough to Be a Bug. His favorite movie was Baby Driver. His favorite sport to play was basketball and he loves watching soccer. His favorite homemade meals are pozole, frijoles charros, salpicon, and soup. He enjoys camping and traveling. His favorite snack is Takis with a blue Powerade. He graduated from Tavares High School in 2020. He is attending Lake Sumter-State College to become a lawyer. John was born with Sickle Cell Disease where his red blood cells are shaped like a crescent moon. Because of his illness, he was always in and out of the hospital. The illness unfortunately caused complications in his body and took his life. Although his life was short, he lived it to the fullest. He is brave, fearless, loyal, and compassionate. He is survived by: his parents, Ernesto and Johanna Sanchez, sister: Natasha Farren, brother-in-law: Andrew Farren, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. John’s viewing will be on June 6th, 2024 from 7-9pm. It will be located at the Beyers Funeral Home in Umatilla, Florida. His service will be the following day, June 7th, 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Eustis, Florida. The burial will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis, Florida and then refreshments to follow back at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home of Umatilla, Florida.
