Jeannie Ann Randhan

Jeannie Ann Randhan, 77, of Umatilla, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025. Born on March 26, 1947, in Orlando, Florida, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was marked by her deep faith, musical talent, and commitment to family and service. Jeannie is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Virginia Mareci, and her son, Jon Randhan, Jr. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 36 years, Jon Randhan; her beloved daughters, Sheri Gay (Ed), Karen Pringle (Dan), and Leeann Chandler (Matt); son Louis Hubbell (Darcy); as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jessica Pohlmann (Jon), Courtney Aycock (Alex), Alexis Randhan, Cameron Pringle, Layton Chandler, Liam Chandler, Philip Hubbell, and Joshua Hubbell. Jeannie was also a proud great-grandmother to Hunter Aycock and Avery Pohlmann. She is survived by her brothers, Tom Mareci and Joe Mareci, along with numerous extended family members and friends who were touched by her warmth and kindness. Jeannie’s life was rich with accomplishments and passions. A talented pianist and organist, her love for music was a cornerstone of her life. As a young woman, she served as Drum Major and excelled in baton twirling, leaving behind a legacy of grace and discipline. Her education was equally impressive, earning a degree in Theology, an Associate of Arts, and certification as a CPC Coder. Her faith was her guiding light, and she dedicated much of her life to ministry, particularly through Women’s Ministry and Women’s Jail Ministry. A faithful servant, Jeannie embodied the spirit of love and kindness, living out the words of St. Pope John Paul II: *“Allow the light and the healing presence of Christ to shine brightly through your lives. In that way, all those who come in contact with you will discover the loving kindness of God.”* Jeannie married the love of her life, Jon, on January 20, 1989. Together, they traveled the country, enjoyed cruising the Caribbean, and finally fulfilled their dream of visiting Alaska. In the last four years, they embraced the full-time RV lifestyle, exploring the beauty of the United States. Jeannie’s heart was full of joy when gathered with family and friends. Holiday celebrations and family get-togethers, often accompanied by her homemade cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies, were moments she treasured deeply. A Celebration of Jeannie’s Life will be held at First Baptist Church Umatilla, 550 Hatfield Dr., Umatilla, FL 32784, on Monday, March 3rd. The viewing for family will begin at 3:00 pm, followed by a viewing for friends at 3:30 pm. The service will begin at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jeannie’s memory to Women’s Ministry at First Baptist Umatilla.
