Obituary of James Faraci JAMES L. FARACI, 88, of Oxford, Florida, died Sunday, September 26, 2010. He was born in Hoboken, New Jersey and moved to Oxford from Deerfield Beach, FL in 2007. He retired after 37 years from the Long Island Railroad as a Traffic Manager. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Oxford, FL. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post #347 in Lady Lake, FL; The Heritage Republican Club of Florida; and the Italian-American Club of Century Village, Deerfield Beach, FL. He volunteered computer and organizational duties for clubs and was a handy man around the house. He enjoyed cooking gourmet meals, crossword puzzles, traveling, socializing and spending quality time with family and friends. He is survived by: His wife of 61 years: Mary Faraci of Oxford, FL 2 Daughters: MaryAnn Autorino of The Villages, FL Grace Iannuccilli of St. James, NY 4 Brothers: Frank Faraci of Valley Stream, NY Carmine Faraci of Lakewood, NJ Salvatore Faraci of Staten Island, NY Gene Faraci of Lakewood, NJ 1 Sister: Carol Fina of Lakewood, NJ 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a Wake service at 5:00 PM at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 8:30 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Oxford, FL. Interment with Full Military honors will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067.
