Obituary of Helen Thibodeau Helen M. Thibodeau, 83, of Leesburg, Florida, died Monday, May 9, 2011 at Leesburg Health and Rehabilitation Center, Leesburg, FL. Helen was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire and came to this area in 1965. She worked for the Lake County Government Board of County Commissioners as a secretary. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women organization. She was a long standing member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. Helen enjoyed cruising and dancing with her husband, Arthur. A devoted wife and loving mother, she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur & Margie Thibodeau of Pennsylvania, Christopher & Crissy Thibodeau of Bushnell, FL, daughters and sons-in-law, Susan Thibodeau Cain & Edmund Cain of Lady Lake, FL, Mary Ellen Thibodeau Winchell of Leesburg, FL, Pamela Thibodeau Stewart & Scott Stewart of Fairbanks, Alaska; four grandchildren, Jeff and Brian Cain of Lady Lake, FL, Diana Stewart Ham of Fairbanks, Alaska, Nikki Moon of Lady Lake, FL; great granddaughter, Mylee Moon of Lady Lake, FL; two sisters, Geraldine Sanborn of Claremont, NH and Theresa Farnham of Bedford, NH. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Arthur; granddaughter, Krystin Stewart and brother, William Towle. Visitation will be held at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg, Monday, May 23, 2011 from 5:00 -7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Leesburg on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 8.30 AM with Father John Giel celebrant. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
