Obituary of Ernestine Rogers Ernestine D. Rogers, 70 of The Villages, FL died on Thursday, April 22, 2010. She was born in Anderson, SC and moved to The Villages from Manahawkin, NJ in 2005. She was a member of Fairway Christian Church, The Villages, FL. She was co-founder of the All One Family Organization of The Villages; and a member of Red Hats Society, Jazz Lovers Club, The African American Club, and the Long Island Beach, NJ Garden Club. She enjoyed golf, traveling, reading, gardening, listening to music and spending quality time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, David L. Rogers, The Villages, FL; 3 daughters: Stephanie Silver, Newark, NJ; Gina Rogers, Robbinsville, NJ; and Tracey Rogers, Robbinsville, NJ; son, David Rogers, Jr., Bushkill, PA; brother, Ben Doyle, The Villages, FL; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Fairway Christian Church, The Villages, FL with Minister Mark Fessler and Minister Bill Twaddell officiating with a visitation prior to the service from 10:00 " 11:00 AM. Interment will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
