Beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, and the best Great- Grandpa. Douglas Lee Beale Sr has passed and is preparing the way for all of us who knew and loved him & has gone to join his 1st son, Baby Boy Beale, parents and grandson & to hand pick & love on his next treasure before their arrival. He was a man of many names, Douglas, Big Doug Beale, Dougie, Uncle Doug, Hun, Daddy, Da, Mompa and Papa. He was much more than the patriarch of the family. We thank him for the life lessons taught, his unprecedented support to each and every one of his family members. We thank him for his unfailing love, patience, understanding and most importantly for his respect in giving each of us the “room to grow” into the people we were meant to be. Even though there were a few of us that tested him. We thank him for all of his hardcore work ethic, he was always a perfectionist and always strived to be the best in everything that he did. He has left a space in our lives, but he left as well, the tools and examples we need to carry on and grow further. He is forever in all of our hearts. Born to Rita (White) and Butler Beale in Marlboro, Massachusetts on April 13, 1943. He was raised in Waterbury CT, where he made his home with his Child Bride of 64 years, later happily retiring to Florida to live his BEST life. He is survived by his child bride, his whole world & absolute favorite life-long bobbysoxer and dance partner, Celeste, who doted over him their entire life together. His loving siblings, Linda Innaimo, his first dance partner, of Thomaston CT, Roxanne Fusco and husband Tony, of Watertown CT, Kenneth Beale, of Leesburg, Carol Beale, of Springfield MI, and David Beale and wife Shirley, of Wolcott CT. His four treasures, whom were his greatest and favorite accomplishments in life, Anita Diaz and husband Hiram Diaz Jr., of Waterbury CT, Toni Lee Beale, of Moncks Corner SC, Douglas Jr. and wife Alexandra, of Norfolk CT, and Pauline Beale, of Port Royal SC, and surrogate daughter aka Fiver, Amy Beale and life partner Gene Daily, of Harwinton CT, and many nieces and nephews. He leaves to cherish and honor his memory on Earth his 12 grandchildren, Damian Diaz and wife Tanya, Grant Beale, Kyle Bowyer and partner Candice Nicholson, Breeanna Sullivan and husband George Norton V, Dylan Diaz, Zachary Bowyer, Matthew Sullivan, Daniel Diaz, Mary Sullivan, Alexandra Beale, Gene Jr. Daily and Charlotte Beale. And his very loved great grandchildren Emilia Jane Diaz and Joseph Toll, Evelyn Bowyer, and Winter Rosemarie Diaz. He was met at the gates by his beloved Mother, Rita Beale, waiting with open arms to greet him, his father Butler Beale, who regained his favorite fishing buddy. His grandchildren, his 2nd grandson and beloved namesake, Douglas the III, whom he loved and missed immeasurably, his granddaughter, Rachel Rhiannon Diaz and grandson Maximillian Devereuax Diaz. And his bestie, “ride or die”, “partner in crime”, known as Uncle Timmy by all, are finally reunited to get back to their high jinks and shenanigan & rumor has it, they were at the races already.
