Charles R Schaus

Charles "Chuck" R. Schaus, age 55, walked hand-in-hand with his beautiful sister Lauri to walk with our Lord unexpectedly on Good Friday, April 19, 2019. He was born on September 11, 1963. Chuck is survived by his wife Margie Schaus and their furry kids Buster and Winnie, his father James O. Schaus (Linda his loving step-mom), his mother Marlene (Marti) (Jordan) Schaus, his brother James H. Schaus (Joanne), Special Aunt Janet and Uncle Richard Skeen, cousins Dawn and Rob Geis, Chrystal and Glen Simonsen, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws, Nancy and Gary Schlei, Larry and Mary Wilson, Don and Sally Wilson, Paul and Julia Wilson, Jane and Mark Goessl, Andy and Tracy Wilson, Liz Wilson and Barry Arries, David and Debbie Wilson, Steve and Marimae Wilson. Also to include many wonderful nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Chuck was preceded in death by his amazing sister Lauri, his furry kids Sonny and Sandy, Margie's parents Donald and Margaret Wilson, step mom Beverly Wilson, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Chuck worked at Great Lakes Packaging as a forklift operator and loader of trucks. Then Chuck retired to Florida where he became a fashionista to help out his neighbors. Anyone who knew Chuck, knew he loved to coordinate his attire all the way to his socks!! Chuck had such an infectious smile and his laughter would bring brightness to your day. Chuck was the "neighborhood grunt", the Ambassador of Cypress Creek, and the Lawn Boy. No matter what, Chuck was there for everyone at any time. Chuck loved to go to Biloxi with his step mom Linda and his dad, Jim (his best friend ever). Chuck's love for hunting and fishing were his passion. Chuck was always the wanderer in the woods, had a Mountain Dew in his hand, and always had a line in the water looking for that next BIG CATCH!!! When I met Chuck, I had wished upon a star and my prayers were answered. We have had an awesome relationship with never having an argument and always beginning and ending the day with a kiss and "I love you." Chuck was an amazingly romantic and loving husband, my best friend, and the love of my life for 37 years. Chuck was always giving to everyone, always there to help with whatever someone needed. This world was blessed with Chuck in it and he will be truly missed by all who loved him and/or knew him. "I LOVED YOU YESTERDAY, LOVE YOU STILL, ALWAYS HAVE, ALWAYS WILL!!!!! Chuck will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 11:00am in our Cypress Creek MHP Clubhouse.
