Alice Gierosky

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice Gierosky, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who departed this life on July 1, 2025, at the age of 91. Alice was born on April 20, 1934, in Parma Heights, Ohio, to Joseph Gierosky and Marie Kozlowski. She lived a life full of love, resilience, and devotion to her family, which she cherished above all else. Alice is survived by her three daughters, Cynthia Hitt and her husband Bill, Constance Arida, and Cheryl Arida. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jeff Hitt, Matthew Arida and his wife Hannah, and Robin Hoffman and her husband James “Jimmy.” Alice was also a proud great-grandmother to Lane Hitt, Easton Hitt, Logan Hoffman, Lawson Hoffman, with a fifth great-grandchild on the way. The warmth of her love will forever shine through the lives she touched. Throughout her life, Alice was known for her unwavering spirit and dedication to her work. She built a successful career with Bell South and later worked with Palm Beach County, where her talents in planning and zoning helped shape the community. Her professional accomplishments were matched only by her commitment to her faith and her community. Alice was a devoted member of the Holy Name Church in West Palm Beach, where she attended services for over 50 years, finding solace and strength within her spiritual family. Alice was preceded in death by her siblings Laverne, Eileen, and Leonard, as well as her beloved parents, Marie and Joseph. Though they are no longer with her, their memories live on in the stories she shared and the love she imparted to her family. Friends and family are invited to gather for a graveside service on July 9, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach. In this serene setting, we will celebrate Alice's remarkable life, sharing memories and honoring the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Alice Gierosky’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family. Her laughter, wisdom, and kindness will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. As we say our goodbyes, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, watching over us all with her gentle spirit.
