Obituary of Joshua Faile Joshua Ryan Faile, 23 of Leesburg was born August 11th, 1990 and departed to Heaven on January 19, 2014. Joshua was raised in a God fearing home and spent much of his younger years involved in church functions. He grew up in Main Street Baptist Church (now the Genesis Center) and was currently a member of Community United Methodist Church. Joshua was a 2008 graduate of First Academy, where he was captain of the football team and a member of the debate, tennis, and golf teams. Joshua's friends and family will always remember the times they spent with him in woods camping, on the boat fishing, and with his beloved dog and friend "ShortStop". Joshua graduated from USF in 2013 with a degree in Criminology. While attending USF, Joshua played for the USF Rugby team. After traveling to Europe in 2013 and observing the popularity of rugby overseas, Joshua was convinced he could bring the sport of rugby to Leesburg. Joshua's future plans were to attend Police Academy next month. Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Emmett and Trudy Collins; survived by his father Billy Faile Jr.; his mother Linda Faile; his brother David Faile; his paternal grandparents Billy, Sr. and Marian Faile; Aunts: Suzanne (Jim) Alcorn, Ocala, FL; Donna (Earl) Cuppels, Fruitland Park; Patti (Don) Garrett, Fruitland Park; Cathy Horne, Richburg S.C.; Uncle Rev. Robert (Angie) Faile, Wake Forest N.C.; Cousins Jeff (Kim) Willman; Cindy, Jamey (Mary) and Rebecca Alcorn; Michael (Alisi) and Jonathan Cuppels; Stephanie, Heather, and Trey Garrett; Michelle (Dennis) Johnson; Paul Sisk, Daniel (Michelle) Duckworth; Katie (Rodney) Ray; not to mention 16 second cousins and many, many friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Leesburg. Funeral service will be held on Monday January 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church Leesburg. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family welcomes flowers or Memorial Contributions in Joshua's memory to: First Baptist Church, Leesburg for the First Academy Building Program.
