Obituary of Andrew F. Butchko Andrew "Andy" Frances Butchko, 79, of The Villages, Florida, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Andy was born of the late Andrew and Florence Butchko, on July 14, 1932, in Trenton, NJ. He graduated from Trenton High School. At the age of 19, Andy enlisted in the Navy and he was honorably discharged in 1955. He married Rose Ellen Ferry on April 7, 1956, and they lived together in Hamilton Township, NJ, before relocating to Whiting, NJ, in 1995, and to The Villages, FL in 2005. Andy retired from American Standard Corporation after 44 years of service. An avid bowler, quoits and shuffleboard player, baseball coach and fan, in his retirement Andy loved to play cards and shuffleboard, watch baseball, and watch his grandchildren grow. Andy is survived by his beloved wife Rose Ellen of The Villages, FL; six children: JoAnn Giuliana, Plainsboro, NJ; Andrew (Diana) Butchko, Hammonton, NJ; Catherine (Rusty) DiPasquale, Trenton, NJ; Theresa (Bill) Maksimow, Hamilton, NJ; Doreen Butchko and Diana Camacho, Newport, DE; Jennifer (Bill) Longstreet, North Port, FL; sister Lorraine (Dick) Scranton, Trenton, NJ; 10 Grandchildren: Michael, Gregory, Alyssa Giulana; Andrew F. Butchko; Salvatore DiPasquale; Cindy and Mark Maksimow; Tylre, Lizabeth and Emily Longstreet. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Wildwood, FL on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. Inurnment will be at Florida National Cemetery with full Navy military honors following the mass. A memorial service in New Jersey will be held on a date and time to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1650 West Main Street #3, Leesburg, FL 34748.
