Obituary for James C Feagle

James C Feagle

James “Jimmy” Feagle, 58, of Leesburg, Florida gained his wings and went to be with Jesus on May 1, 2021 at home with his wife, daughter and family by his side.
Jim was born November 3, 1962 in Leesburg, Florida where he lived and worked his entire life. Jim was quite the experienced guy. During his younger years, he worked on the local sod farm, and then went to work for the City of Leesburg Electric department for some time before going into the chemical business, UniChem Tech, with his brother, Lowell. He then returned to the City where he climbed the ladder to become the Deputy Director of Public Works, when he retired. During all those years, Jim had many other ventures like building his family home; rebuilding many vehicles from his Corvettes to his 1949 Ford F1; even dabbled in the cattle business. He was always doing or fixing something-usually with duct tape. Jim was a family man above all else. He absolutely adored his wife and even before they married, he knew she was the one. Even during their grade school years, he made sure any boys coming down their road knew Penny was his. Pen was and will forever belong to Jimmy. Jim had another love though, his daughter, Melissa. They were two peas in a pod and acted just alike-hardheaded. Even so, she was always his baby girl. Jim decided to share his little girl when he gave Joe his blessing to marry her. In return, Jim got 2 of his greatest blessings: his grand boys, Dalton and Ryder. These boys were their Pa’s sidekicks. The three were always getting into trouble. When Jim wasn’t playing in the mud with the boys, he was socializing with people. Our princess LOVED to talk. He couldn’t go in any store or restaurant without seeing someone he knew and had to stop and chat. He touched many lives during his time here on Earth. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends and absolutely loved any type of party or gathering (especially if he was the center of attention-hence his nickname “Princess”). Jim will forever be missed by his family and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, James K. Condrey and brother, Lowell Mishoe. Jim is survived by his soul mate and loving wife of 38 years: Penny Feagle of Leesburg, FL; his daughter, Melissa Denham and her husband, Joe of Lady Lake; his grandchildren, Dalton & Ryder of Lady Lake; his mother, Helen Morgan of Leesburg,FL; mother in law, Jewel Correll of Leesburg, FL; sister, Brenda Grubb and her husband, Hank of Leesburg, FL; brothers, Benjamin “Doug” Mishoe of Leesburg and Monte Mishoe and his wife, Connie of Floral City, FL; sister-in-law, Judy; nieces and nephews, Wendy, Liberty, Monte Jr. and Kelly; his loyal dog, Lady; Godsons, Sawyer and Conner Free and their dad Keith and a never-ending list of friends.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10 am at Lake Okahumpka Park: 6085 FL-44, Wildwood, FL 34785. Please feel free to wear your jeans and cap as Jim always did. He would be honored.

Please send flowers to: Penny Feagle at 1750 Youngs Rd. Leesburg, FL 34748.
