Condolence: Sheila and Earl were paragons of 'kindness in another's troubles and courage in their own'. Her goodness and bravery will be with us forever and her children will be blessed from what she and Earl have done. We will cherish those memories forever. They were especially kind to me when my mother passed and I was not able to be there. I will never forget. Lloyd &Dee Thompson

Condolence: Sheila was my neighbor and first friend when we moved to Lake Panasoffkee. We shared many stories and secrets for over 19 years. Always a kind and caring christian. She loved my family, as I love hers. I sure have missed my sweet friend. God gives us people in our lives that make a difference, she truly was one that made a difference in many lives. I feel peace knowing she is in paradise.

Condolence From: Pearl, Helen, Beverley &, Marion
Condolence: There is a great emptiness left by Ms. Sheila’s passing, but we are certain that the strength of the love that you and your family share for each other and for Ms. Sheila will get you through this difficult time. May that love honor her memory and may you cherish the time you had together.
Our mom had a very close relationship with Ms. Sheila when we were growing up in Jamaica. We remember her as being very kind and gracious, always opening the doors of her home to us with a ready welcome. We especially remember Ms. Sheila’s gentle spirit and loving nature. She will always be remembered as an especially giving person of great character. Ms. Sheila generously shared her love of education with our family and inspired us to achieve. She has indelibly written on our hearts. Melodie, Mark and families, you will always remember how it felt to be loved by your mom. We hope these memories bring you comfort with time.
With fond memories, Pearl, Helen, Beverley, and Marion McPherson

Condolence: I was saddened to learn of Ms. Sheila’s passing. All of us who took any of her classes at Knox College loved her. Her integrity and her scholarship inspired many people. I believe she impacted the lives of all of her students, not only as a teacher, but as a counselor, guide, and friend. I had not seen her for many years, but the last time I saw her, aside from a few gray hairs, she hadn’t really changed much. She still had that vibrant personality and great energy. And she still had encouraging things to say. My relationship with Ms. Sheila started long before Knox. I spent countless days/nights at her home. Travelled with her on outings to visit her mother and I will never forget those wonderful trips to Milk River Baths! I was a beneficiary of her love for sewing and I remember well all those adorable outfits she made me as a little girl. Ms. Sheila was also excellent at meal preps – I always looked forward to having “jack” at Sabbath dinners at her home. I will never forget her - what a great lady! “Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.” Melodie, Mark and families, your mom’s kindness, generosity, and caring nature was contagious and her memory will live on forever. Please accept heartfelt condolences.
With Fond Memories, Marion McPherson-Davis
