I would have come to the funeral yesterday if i had known about this heartbreaking information. My thoughts are with y'all and once again, i am truly sorry for your loss. Condolence: It has been many a year since I was married to Jerry Smith who contracted tile work for Clell's father, then younger Clell took over the business. My friend Zandra worked in Clell's office and we have many good memories of fun times. It is always sad when someone we have known passes and I send my deepest sympathy for the days of adjustment required when we lose someone dear to our heart. Most of us have been there and the older we get the more we send sympathy notes. Blessings, Barbara

Condolence From: Marc Matthews Sr.
Condolence: Alice, this is a hard note to write for obvious reasons.
As you know Clell and I were very good friends back in the day. Now, almost 48 years have passed, and my memories are still clear and fond to the welcome the Coleman family gave me when they brought me to Florida back in 1973.
Big Clell II was my true mentor in getting me started in the construction business, and little Clell lll was like having my first partner and almost brother, giving me the confidence to pursue my career here. (Even if he did always call me in jest, “ his left handed Catholic Yankee”, which I hoped was his concealed way of saying he accepted me.)
I truly regret we lost touch with each other after I moved from Leesburg back in 2005. But I want you to know there's not a week since I left Leesburg that Clell’s name or yours is not brought up, in our stories and memories.
Alice, Jeanne and I now are also getting older, and our present family obligations are preventing us from attending the service being held in remembrance of Clell, but please understand that we will be there in our thoughts and hearts on that day, as well as in the future.
Your friend forever, and almost family, Marc Matthews Sr.

Condolence: What a great man! We never saw him without a smile on his face. Although we didn't get to spend as much time with him as we would have liked, the times we did spend will always be in our hearts. God bless him and keep him in His arms.
We will be praying for him and you too, Alice. We were all blessed to have him in our lives. He will definitely be missed.
