Charles "Charlie" Henry Burns, 93, of Bushnell, FL, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020, in The Villages, FL. He was born February 27, 1927 in San Francisco, CA to Henry and Emma (Coliva) Burns. He proudly served in the U.S Navy. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Wildwood. Charlie was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, The Lions Club and the American Legion. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, researching on the computer, spending time with friends and family and going out for dinner and dancing.
He is survived by his significant other: Lucille Hacker of Bushnell, FL; sons: David Burns of Leesburg, FL, Neil (Susan) Burns of Nobleton, FL, Ray (Julie) Burns of Okahumpka, FL; grandchildren: Hailey Hacker and Joshua Hacker, both of Sumterville, FL; stepson: Hoss (Kim) Hacker of Sumterville, FL; and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Bonnie Sue (Gene) Soveign of Fernadina Beach, FL and Yvonne Collier of Wildwood, FL.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 2:30 pm at Greenwood Cemetery in Wildwood, Florida.
